    CNES President Jean-Yves Le Gall was at the 4th COSPAR symposium that is taking place in Herzliya, Israel, from Monday 4 to Friday 8 November on the theme of “Small Satellites for Sustainable Science and Development”. Formed in 1958, COSPAR (Committee on Space Research) is an international organization charged with promoting space research. It serves chiefly as a forum for information exchange, preparation of scientific and technical standards, and the presentation and publication of scientific papers in the field of space research. It organizes its symposium on a theme of international interest every two years.

Créé en 1958, le COSPAR (Committee on Space Research) intervient principalement comme un forum d'échange des connaissances, des normes scientifiques et techniques et permet la présentation et la publication des résultats scientifiques liés à la recherche spatiale pour la promouvoir au plan international et il organise, tous les deux ans, son symposium sur une thématique d’intérêt international.

    ADELAIDE: 25 September, 2017 — Australian space startup, Fleet, and the French space agency, CNES, today announced that they will enter into a strategic collaboration whereby CNES will track and support Fleet’s first nanosatellites, once launched. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organisations has been signed today on the opening day of this year’s International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Adelaide. The signing happened in front of South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill.
