  9. Vega completes 14th successful launch Orbits Italy’s PRISMA satellite

    On the night of 21-22 March, Vega accomplished a flawless launch from Europe’s spaceport at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), orbiting the PRISMA satellite (PRecursore IperSpettrale della Missione Applicativa) built by prime contractor OHB Italia for the Italian space agency ASI. The launch was the third this year from the CSG and the first for Vega, marking the vehicle’s 14th straight success since its maiden flight in 2012.

    Dans la nuit du 21 au 22 mars 2019, Vega a parfaitement réussi sa mission depuis le Centre Spatial Guyanais, port spatial de l’Europe, en mettant en orbite le satellite PRISMA (PRecursore IperSpettrale della Missione Applicativa) de l’Agence spatiale italienne (ASI), réalisé sous la maîtrise d’œuvre d’OHB Italia. Il s’agissait du troisième lancement de 2019 au Centre Spatial Guyanais, du premier de l’année pour Vega qui comptabilise ainsi son 14ème succès d’affilée depuis son premier lancement en 2012.
