    Thursday 17 November, Ariane 5 completed a flawless launch from Europe’s spaceport at the Guiana Space Centre, orbiting the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th satellites for the European Galileo satellite navigation programme. Ultimately, Galileo will offer much greater precision and reliability than any other satellite navigation system in the world. The flight marked the European launcher’s 75th straight success since 2003.

    Jeudi 17 novembre, Ariane 5 a parfaitement réussi sa mission après son lancement depuis le Centre Spatial Guyanais, port spatial de l’Europe, en mettant en orbite les 15ème, 16ème, 17ème et 18ème satellites de la constellation Galileo, le programme européen de navigation par satellite. A terme, Galileo assurera une précision et une fiabilité bien supérieures à celles de tous les autres systèmes de navigation par satellite. Le lanceur européen signait ainsi son 75ème succès d’affilée depuis 2003.
